I bought one of these spool guns, not used it yet, working out how to connect it up.

Looks good, apart from only one, 0.9mm feed roller. It comes with a spool of 4xxx wire. Its quite large, pretty much the same size as my modified wire feed spool gun... which I gave up with - too much time.
Im not going to use the Euro socket as the matching female side will cost 20 quid, Id prefer gas hose going straight to bottle.
Connecting it up - switching the welder looks easy, connect one side of switch to the torch positive, and the other side to the pcb sense wire, same as standard torch. This wont control gas and needs the pcb speed controller for wire feed - which is not much good on Sealeys.. fed from the main transformer which sags under load.
Motor is DC12, 8500rpm.. bog standard dc motor and gearbox, perfectly adequate. I plan to use an external PSU, and a brush DC motor controller with speed sensor.
Gas. Standard uses a mechanical valve in the switch. It seems most Euro torches use a solenoid in machine. Bought one of these, not certain where to connect it yet..
