I recently welded for the first time (MIG) and want to fully get into it. There isn't always time or space for me to play at college with the big welders we have and I cant get the 205 to college to weld it up anyway!
I've come to the conclusion although it might be slightly more expensive to buy my own welder, learn to weld and weld that car up, it will be a skill I will have forever.
Basically I need to do the following
1.6mm - 1.3mm Steel Sheet Repair Patchs
3mm - Steel Sheet for RollCage Feet
I then need to weld 3mm steel cage feet to the body of 1.6mm-1.3mm steel.
Would prefer gas as it makes neater welds. Just waiting on your input now on what to go for!
