Hi All,
After a lot of advise from this forum and a lot of practice I put on my big boy pants and did some 'real' welding today.
I needed to attach a chassis patch panel to a new floor support for my 66 Mustang. I will then be welding it into the rest of the frame. I'm open to criticism & advise but I'm really pleased about how it came out.
One question I have is that you can see some small gaps in the weld after I ground them down, although these are really really small. I will be painting the metal and then covering it in underseal. Should I go back and weld and grind again? I can see myself getting obsessed with no gaps at all and grinding all the metal away!
Cheers
