The super6 is gasless wire.
I'll give shroudless a go if i can get a new tip in to the neck. I seem to have got the old tip rather hot and it seized in place. After removing it i'm having trouble getting a replacement tip in to the threads. Probably needs a tap running in it.
How do you folks see the weld pool with gas without having a steep-ish drag angle?
Told you I wasn't an expert I only do gas and am still on the first roll I got with the machine so am not 'up on' different types.
hi that super6 spits rather well dosnt it
i bet you noticed it was bright when welding while using it
what thickness are you welding on?
my settings is minimum 3 or max 2 or 3 wire speed between 4/5
There looks to be a lot of RUST around you welds! If you are not cleaning (grinding to clean metal) before welding then that rust will try and melt into your weld pool and be spat out as splatter. Try to get some new clean (no gav or nickle coating) and see what that weld like.
You might be right with this. I've tried to adjust the settings on my helmet to try and get a good view of the puddle. No matter what i try the arc is just too bright and the puddle is dim.i bet you noticed it was bright when welding while using it
