I've been welding a mid 70s KTM exhaust expansion chamber the other day at work.Ive been lurking about this forum for years learning what I can, im mainly from a tig background and now ive joined as decided to purchase a mig, im going to be doing a very small bit of body panel work ,mainly sills on an old sprinter but ill want to use the mig for other stuff such as box section framework etc... Ive ben impressed like most by the rtech 180s either original or the new 181 however Ive been reading that the controls even at low settings aren't actually that low, im aware that ill prob weld at higher rates anyway but still i like a bit of accuracy. So been considering the paton 200
Anyone got any thoughts on this and also is there any discount codes before i drop my hard eraned.
Thanks lads
It's already too late for me,why didn't you say that to me few years ago?My thoughts are you need to get out of here as fast as you can, don't worry if you don't have a Plasma cutter, Lathe , Mill, Grinder because if you stick around you soon will have. Workshop not big enough? We have a planning department too!
My advice is to get out now, tomorrow will be too late.
