I do a bit of machinery restoration, and I am never pleased with the end result
The problem is that I'm a perfectionist but not that perfect at it!
I did a Bonnet before but the paint never properly hardened. It was always kind of soft that your nail would leave a small dent, months later. So I thought that I would lacquer the next job and see if it would protect the Paint, which was a set of wheel rims for a dexta. I think it made a difference, but can't be sure as the paint was different. Standard white paint, as opposed to Ferguson Grey.
Now I have a cab that I'm prepping, and getting ready for primer. If I add a hardener will it help the hardness?
It's not going to be a concourse but I want to try get it right.
