Sorry, got this posted in the wrong forum to begin with.
I'm going to buy a fiber laser cutter in the not too distant future. It will be in the 500-750W range. Does anyone here have any experience running fiber lasers?
I've already got two CO2 lasers, a 80W and a 110W that will cut wood and plastic. However I want to be able to cut metal as well and plasma won't give the the kind of detail I need. Among other things, I will be cutting decorative objects for a local designer.
I'm confident I can setup and operate the fiber laser but since I'm new to metal cutting it would be nice to hear if there are any "tricks of the trade" to pick up.
