Hi guys,
long time lurker, though it was about time I signed up and said hello!
I’m a farmer in Penshurst. I work livestock and machinery. I’m the farm engineer and general dogs body that does a bit of everything.
I really enjoy doing machine work and fabrication. I have a machine shop at home with a Harrison lathe and Deckel Fp2 clone. Never get to use them as much as I’d like, work gets in the way!!
im a self taught welder, I can stick things together and they stay that way! I’ve made implements that go on the fork lift and tractors. I learned on an arc welder and moved on to mig. I’ve just bought a Miller 330a/bp so the next challenge is to get it running off 240V. Plan is to learn tig.
enough rambling!
nice to meet, and I look forward to contributing with my meagre knowledge, and more importantly learning from all the knowledgeable people on here.
