Hi All,
Do you use eye protection behind the visor to guard against flying particles/sparks when welding ?
I am using full goggles but they are quite bulky and only just fit behind the auto-dim visor plus they keep misting up.
Thinking the safety specs with sides type would be better but I guess reduced protection.
Have been using eye protection since a spark bounced off the car floor some years ago (when welding underneath) and came over the visor.
Am also using a disposable fume mask.
Am I going over the top with the PPE or is this normal with you guys ?
