Thought I'd get post number one over and done with now that I've joined. Had a look around before I took the plunge and bought a welder. Australian made WIA Weldmatic 175. 10 minute duty cycle for 175 amps is 15% and 67 amps at 100 and goes down to a low of 30amps using 0.6mm wire. Came with a Bernard euro connect gun and only have to get gas and a few odds and ends before I get started with the practice.
Live in Somerset Tasmania and cheese making keeps me in the money. The grading of about 1600T of cheddar for the UK finished this week - just thought I'd put in a plug. Ice to Eskimos and all that. Car that needs work is my 1976 GMH Torana Hatchback. Racing version the A9X has been shown in the UK at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. 2 door, weighs about 1300 kilos, 5 litre V8. Other toy is a 1993 Ducati 900SS - red.
