Hi there
Another welding noob here. I have a SIP Migmate Turbo 150 (might be 130) gathering rust in my garage. It's hardly been used. I've seen a few threads about improving how it works and I am keen to have a go. First order of business must be a conversion to bigger bottles as the throwaway ones seem to last minutes. I have a welding mask (not hand held, sits on the head but isn't automatic), gloves, grinder, eye and ear protectors so I am OK on the safety side of things, I think.
Anyway... I have an old car to restore, very little welding needed (it's a Lotus) but I've wanted to learn how to weld for decades, literally.
Expect some noobie questions.. sorry, we all have to start somewhere, right?
Cheers
JonB
