Hello,
What experience/recommendations have people got for level 2 courses in MIG and TIG in the Merseyside and Lancashire area? I live in St Helens, but work in Ramsbottom, north of Manchester so somewhere within 10 miles of either would be best for me.
I've completed the level one courses at St Helens College which were 18 evenings of 1800-2100. I'd need the course to be evening as I couldn't swing it as work related. I'm not under 25 either so no young person discounts for me! :-)
I'm planning to get a MIG welder soon (just sorted the 16/32A sockets), and would be looking to start the Level 2 course at the same time or after getting the welder so I can keep my skills up at home.
I've emailed Burnley College and their spin-off Themis. I'll drop an email to Wilkinson Welding Academy too.
Thanks.
