great unless u intend grinding welding etc then use a die grinderThinkin about buying one for the smaller jobs but are they any good.
Pros and cons of them
This. Have had one for years, but can count on one hand how often I've used it.I have one. I rarely use it. If it broke, i wouldnt be in a rush to buy another.
I am sort of with julian.I have one. I rarely use it. If it broke, i wouldnt be in a rush to buy another.
I have all 3 types along with others. they all have there uses....black and decker finger sander. Now there's a tool i would buy many times over (and i mention it here, as, for an grinding job that the dremel could do, id far rather reach for the finger sander!)
I use an Aldi version of a Dremmel, probably a little larger in the hand but a brilliant bit of kit at a much cheaper price, they are also variable speed which is handy at times.
Lidl do the Parkside versions but I don't know how good they are. Mine came from eBay so isn't a 'proper' Dremel but it's perfectly adequate.
Oh man don't say that, I have just bought one and it is on its wayI have a Li-ion rechargeable Dremel which has so little torque it's virtually useless. I bought a Parkside variable speed pendant motor and flexible drive that's great - use it with mini cutting discs all the time.
