A question I often get asked. How about this then repair a mortice bit for a machine no longer in production.
Well I don't actually know so here's what the plan is
1,anneal to prevent cracking and move the part back into alignment. Hopefully preventing micro cracking in the grain
(done that it's in the sandbox now)
2. TIG it from the outer face cold
3. Grind
4. Re harden
5. Temper
Will it work? Heck not sure to be fair
