Well. The only time I used (or tried to) a Silverline tool is failed at the first fence. Hole cutter and its teeth made zero impresion on the metal.
Way back, I bought Britool and Snap-on when I could afford them. Kept some cheepo Spanish ones if I wanted to cut and weld for a difficult access.
Still have the Snap-on stuff, and most of the Britool. Understand that Snap-on are not the same as they where.
RAF guy that used to moonlight on our airbase, had huge amounts of Facom and rated them as best (he didn't have to buy them...)
But things have moved on a lot since then, so interested in the answers here.
