Ok im sure this has been covered before on here but i have earmarked the old dishwasher left over from the new kitchen to be used in the workshop to clean parts now and again. Because i actually put the kitchen in a different room I actually had a chance to use it as intended for dirty parts without fear of death on discovery. It actually worked pretty darn well especially on ally parts but most results seamed to prove it was worth it.
I have the dilema of how to plumb it in 3 options
1) Gravity fed from a tank above containing detergent and through some form of filter pumped return from diswasher will go back into tank I will just refill it when needed
2) Gravity fed from a tank above containing detergent, dirty water drains into soakaway
3) I have a cold water feed so use that and use dishwasher tabs / find a way of introducing neat (water based) deterent into the washer through the cycle , dirty water drains into soakaway
its a massive soakaway and theres nothing near it that could die plus i would only use it infrequently anyway as needed
Thoughts ?
