Personally I pilot drill for the ends rest of the boards get driven in.Cheers. Do you normally pop a single, or two screws, in per board end? Clearance holes drilled in the board, or just drive the screws straight in?

I've used these, they are excellentI used the green coated ones from Wickes and they lasted 10 years minimum!
I used the green decking ones from screwfix (probably the same manufacturer) and they lasted 10 years from when we put it up to taking it down, when I took the decking apart a couple of years ago they were all still pretty much fine, they looked they’d last another 10 no probs.I used the green coated ones from Wickes and they lasted 10 years minimum!
