I want to strip some rims.
My plan is to get a HDPE clip top drum, put some DCM (dichloromethane) in it, put the rim in, seal the lid on, and leave it.
Im in no rush...
DCM being expensive, im wondering if i need to submerse the rims, or, say, if i make it deep enough to half cover one, if the vapors will work on the uncovered half before i turn it. Or better yet, if the vapors will do alone, in which case ill just get a big drum and stack them up, with an inch of DCM in the bottom.
I can leave it weeks... no real rush.
