Tungsten pointed darts for armour plated boards?
sounds normal fare for mod contractors. theres a story in the shipyard in barrow that a visiting dignitary was looking over the fishing boats moored in the channel by the slipways, and asked the shipyard manager who built all these little boats? the reply was "we did, but we cant prove it" . there was a time when most fishing boats in the channel were battleship grey.............The points aren't usually tungsten, they're normally just high carbon or alloy steel that will harden and hold a point; it's the body that gets made of tungsten. I knew a chap who worked for the MoD developing armour piercing rounds, he made sets of darts out of surplus tungsten in his lunch break.
