I need to countersink holes for M10 and M12 countersunk socket cap set screws in some 10mm MS plate.
The M10 and M12 heads are just under 20mm and 24mm diameter respectively
I could just use a big drill but the angle is not the same. I had a quick butchers for countersinking tools and found a few HSS ones.
Any tips on what to buy and how to use them? Previous experience is that they blunt easily however that may be because it was in an awkward spot so not using a nice slow drill press. This time I can use a press.
Cheers
Andy
