Got fed up with them scattered around and doing my back in finding them, so put them all in one place, with room for more...
Sadly I can't even afford enough plywood to hold a drill, let alone buy more than one drill.Sadly my garage/workshop is so chock full of "stuff" I don't have room for one of these.

Less than it appears - the one nearest the camera was a gift, nearly 20 years ago, and I never used it, regarding it more as a light-duty kind of toy drill so it remained ignored in its case for ages, until I fished it out one day and tried it properly. I was driven to try it when my Bosch SDS batteries all died out. Amazingly, the Makita battery still held a charge and on low speed it was nearly unstoppable. I put it into use, screwing down floorboards, etc. I was so impressed with it, I bought another - for 99p.Sadly I can't even afford enough plywood to hold a drill, let alone buy more than one drill.
So far I've managed to build this below. I modified the widths to account for my cordless Makita grinder and air drill. Just have to fit the back board once the glued biscuit jointed boards are cured then make a draw for it. All out of scrap timber so far too. Well pleased.
I hope my work is a higher standard than that bodgerYou've been watching the Salvager again
I tried that system for years. It got so the most commonly heard phrase in my workshop was, "Where de fk did I put that thing?"I've got a very useful place to store my drills...........where I used them last!!
