Oh right ok I didn’t think they’d have various seal designs. Well perhaps the spares may come in handy. The top cover, screws and gear might be the same. I’ll post em out to you and tell you what it sets me back. Send me a pm to remind of your address at some point. Be careful if taking a skim off the faces as those clearances are pretty essential to the movement of the gears and sealing of the pump. I suppose if it doesn’t work you could always rebuild the whole thing with these outer cases I’ll send you. This pump did have a very thin paper gasket in it. No oring. The slight warp in the cover was next to nothing, 20 minutes on the plate. There is no oring grove, must be an older model, (same number in the casting as pictured) if there was I would make one, if I have the rubber in my o ring kit, stock is running a bit low. New gasket made. Pump is reassembled.
Have repaired the cooler, went for a belzona option, wasnt confident with the solder option, knowing my luck, Id fix the leak and get new ones else where. Its in the airing cupboard to harden. Will give it a test in the morning if the belzona has worked.
It was deionised water not chataeu de tap. Proper coolant ordered.
Thank you for the offer of the spares, Ill take them please. Let me know how much for postage.
