I recently took up welding, something I've always wanted to try, and am loving it.
Starting at the entry level I went for a cheap and cheerful welder (stock photo of the model attached), my welds so far are fine once you scrape off the coating, but having since done further research I wish now I'd gone for a proper gas welder. Is there any way of converting my current machine/torch to gas? The manual is not great but does have a whole section on using gas, despite the fact that it is specifically a 'no-gas' machine.
Any advice welcome, such as which kit to use.
Maybe I should just go for a new unit, which I'd be happy to do, but obviously my current machine would then be redundant!
Thanks very much
