hi, i have two very similar Ferm made Welders, the 100 and 130. What i want to do is have one dedicated as gas and the other converted to run EN only for flux core wire. Basically for convenience.
The Ferm 100 is my choice for running the flux wire and already has the wire setup. This is the welder that i have used to get my interest in welding. it welded metal together but not well as i beleive it should be setup Electrode Negative for flux wire.
Recently i got the chance of a Ferm 130 so grabbed it. I know also have co2 and a regulator and want to give it a go, the 130 gives me a better range so want to keep that for running with Gas.
I am only a hobby welder so these suit me well. (for now)
I have attached some pics below and wondered if some clever electric type can help me with the wires that i need to swap over to make it a EN dedicated welder.
Do i just swap the wires shown in pic 5?
