Hi,
I've just started a welding course so I can do my own classic car work. I'm starting to research getting a welder, and looking at available I think I want a Clarke 160TE/TM. I'm frankly not sure which is which as tfmsuperstore and Machine Mart show it as 160TM, and toolsbypost show it as 160TE.
I think I don't want one with small canisters as these seem to run out in minutes, and I'm guessing when I'm practicing I'll soon use up canisters. So I think I want one that I can connect reasonable size cylinders to. I don't want 5 foot high jobbies though, something about the size divers use seems the right thing.
I did try sending an email to weldequip, but I think I might have done this wrong as no reply, so weldequip if you're out there I'd appreciate your guidance (and price!).
Thanks
Graham
