I`m enjoying practicing with my 160T (bought 'as good as new' from another forum user) and I`m getting satisfactory and surprisingly tidy results on 'T' fillets using a weave, but I noticed today after not that long a period of use, that the workpiece cable and it`s work-clamp were getting rather warm (the latter in fact, hot)....I was running the machine on setting: No. 3 & (min).
It`s the only part of this nice machine that seems of 'underwhelming' quality.....should I change the lead and clamp for something of heavier gauge/higher quality?......The factory-fitted lead/clamp seems to be of a similar quality (at best) to a set of very-cheap 'jump leads'.
Has anyone else done this?.....Before I go blundering-in: I wondered how the factory fitted cable is terminated inside; is it a crimped or a clamp/lug connector?
