Can anyone help me out, I have a 150 te from Clark it's been sitting in my friend garage for some time and I'm not if sure it broken or I am not understanding, the welder keeps cutting for no apartment reason.
I look at videos of people laying down welds of great lengths but my welder just shuts down after a few seconds!
The wire is not stuck or welded to the tip, I get 3 cm and it cuts out, is this some sort of over heating cut out?
I am a novice and am trying to fix my Land Rover and have lots of welding to do but at this rate it's going to take years!
Maybe I should just buy a new one and see if a newer model is any better can anyone recommend one?
Also I need a better gas supply, machine mart is too expensive and this thing is eating the gas. is the BOC route best or hobby gas better? I am getting through a large machine mart bottle a day at the moment at 15 quid!
Thanks for your help!
