Modded the unit with one of these neat little quick release couplings as below. The tiny little hose is now properly secured with all the correct adaptors and tucked away inside the case.
The power cable is suitably upgraded and fitted with a blue commando plug
As for the earth return I had a head scratch and came up with what I think is a cunning plan.
I've now got three welding machines, a basic buzz box, the mig and now also Tig. To keep things simple and minimise the amount of clutter and trailing leads in a small space I'm gonna fit Dinse sockets to all units that don't have them and keep a single lead that can be moved between units. I will only ever be using one process at a time and it also helps to keep the hobby costs down
