My experience of O/A brazing was in high school, 20 years ago. Get everything super clean, slap on some red flux (mixed from a powder?), heat up with torch, dip rod in flux, apply rod to heated metal with more heat and magic happens. I loved it, was better at it than the teacher, but he was too lazy to clean anything up properly.
I would like do do this again but there seems to be quite a bit to invest in at home.
I’m fairly confident I can weld this, was just a bit worried about the fumes, and possible distortion. Any tips?
Thanks everyone for the contributions.
