Hi there..
Bit random I know - I’m refurbishing a 1956 Morris minor and have come to polish some of the shiny bits. The front grill panel is particularly pitted and scuffed. I’ve posted some pics online and am getting a mix of feedback. Some are saying there’s nothing I can do, the piece is chrome plated and it’ll need replating. Others are suggesting it’s actually a polished alloy and can be sanded and polished. I’m not completely confused.. I’ve given it a good clean and a quick go with some 600 grit wet and dry. I’ve popped some pics hopefully on the post and just wonder if anyone can tell if it’s chrome plated or not and what the best way to polish it up would be.
Thanks!!
Dougie
