Hi thanjs fir the reply i have had a look on dinse socket and plug on ebay .you say you cut yours from inside the machine .do you push cable into the dinse socket and screw it in. is it same for dinse plug .Have a look on here I changed one on a 160 using heavier cable 3 meters long. One like this to solder on. Don't know why it's put up 2, can't get rid of the second.

Does that go into the dinse socket and one the same for dinse plug .i am getting one of those crimped onto my new 200 ap earth clamp lead .shop said they would do it so when i cut earth lead will take it to him
When I cut away the old cable I left few inches connected so I could solder to it. Either way should be ok, but I had no way to crimp it.My machine has an aluminium bar inside connected to the earth lead so the lug had to be crimped on not soldered.
