Looking at Cemont Inverter welders for small repairs on the farm etc... gate hinges, the odd broken bracket etc...out in the field, so running of a genny.
Also would like to buy one for home use, I restore vintage tractors and machinery as a hobby so would be useful to have an arc welder. I've heard good things about Inverter welders, I'm used to Oil cooled and standard type arcs.
We have 210amp Mig at work for most things, but it would be handy to have a portable arc welder.
I've seen the CEMONT PUMA 1700G MMA INVERTER welder at:
http://www.weldinggear.co.uk/Mma-Welders/CEMONT-PUMA-1700G-MMA-INVERTER_638.htm
and wonder what people think of Cemont?? also looked at Inverter Fusion welders, but I think they will be alot more than £300?
any help greatly appreciated.
