Evening guys.
My task today was to start repairing my Manchester power hacksaw. I fractured it on the pivot point. No big deal. So I bevealed the piece to be welded. I got 2.5 and 3.2 nickel rods. A root weld. Middle and a cap. It's cold welded and peened. The 2.5 rods ran nice at 75 amps...but couldn't do nothing with them 3.2 rods. They would ball up and not deposit the required amount of weld. Why is this.
