Hi everyone
I'm a total welding newbie and require some advice please. I'm about to take on a smallish project (custom fitted tailgate guard) for my car. Through trawling the net I have realised the best type of welder for what I want will me a MIG.
I'm wanting to make something like this...
Although mine will be better
The frame work will be made of 20mmx20mm box which is 1.5mm thick.
I have seen that many welders my head is about to explode
I only have 2 things that I need to stick to...
1. It has to be under £230.
2. It has to run from a 13amp feed.
Will a Clarke 110E MIG Welder do the job? Am I better off with gas or gas-less???
TIA,
Matt
