If you have the erskin powerfeeds on your mill you could run them off a seperate 110v transformer and keep them running,.
If you have the original control wiring in there as well it can all be run off the same 110v transformer and just run a vfd for the main spindle motor. Without digging into the motor to find the star point you would still need the 415v out style vfd but still cheaper than the plug and play option.
If you have a bridgeport style mill with the switchbox you can use this to control the vfd so all the controls would work as normal.
