Hello guys,
I'm using Telmig 200/2 welder (EURO torch) with C18 (82% Ar + 18% CO2 mix), and 1.0 mm steel mig wire, and the liner + drive rolls and wire tip size are also setup for the 1.0 mm wire...no problem here.
I want to ask just a simple question:
If I want to do some welding on thin sheet metal for example with 0.6 mm wire, can I use the same 1.0 mm liner or I do have to change that too? What would be the problem if the liner is larger in diameter than the wire?
I know that everything else I got to change (drive rolls and tip size) in order to fit the 0.6 mm wire, that's ok.
Thanks.
