Hi new member here but very long time lurker, i need some help and advice please. Just purchased a butters aw 201 from a friend, ive known the machine for years and used it several times in the past. however after putting it in the workshop i decided to run off some wire as it was a bit rusty on the surface, wound up the speed and it fed fine then it just stopped. checked the torch/trigger for continuity all ok. just above the wire feed motor there is a fuse which had blown, replaced fuse still no joy. How should i test the motor? will a 12 volt suppy be ok? can i do this from the torch conection points? what does that fuse protect? is a manual available for this machine? if it turns out to be the motor can i get one? where from? how much?. sorry for all the questions on my first post but having been reading this forum for years i know that this is the place for friendly helpfull advice
thanks in advance
