Hello,
I was under the impression, after viewing a few videos too, that blue colored welding lens where cool for the eyes.
But, the Aulektro web site (I did get one of their gold plated lens) , state that blue is very tiring in a work environment , may be after some time, and that anyway it is not authorized for welding in Germany (the
standard
allow blue for infra red protection only)
A few videos are showing how cool the blue color is for different welding procedure ,and indeed I thought it was.
Btw that gold plated glass I have is the neatest filter I haver had, the color is mor green but with a blue tendency, and the provider explain it is only a question of batches.
Do some have experience or feedback with that ?
ps 90 x 110 fixed shade, gold plated, is 6€ http://www.soudeurfrancais.fr/?page=lens_menu (despite the name the 'soudeur francais is located in England)
