You're welcome Hood. I'm glad tha you liked it. But it's really rough to be honest, I've much better parts printed. If you have the idea of building one I can get you a list of all the material needed (complete excel spreadsheet) and you just have to buy the parts. You can build a pretty basic one but h a lot better than most entry levels for sale for around £150/£160.
Most of the commercial ones around £600 use the same parts that you can buy for yourself from china. I did that reverse engineering using a bought one from a friend I checked the manufacturers of the parts like stepper motors and so on. After that it was just contacting them and buying. Some of them even have stores at alliexpress and so on
That looks very nice. This is a good quality part printed on my other printer that needs some fixes at this moment. It's an ammo case for my .22LR match ammo
I have an ultimaker 2 at work, which we mainly use to print out star wars figurines or phone stands from thingiverse (seemingly). One thing I will say is that the printers really stink. We had to buy a case for ours.
I was going to make a metal insert to see if it would help but not had a chance yet.You could probably open up the holes in the 3d part a little and insert some cheap split bushes to help with that.
How did the two get on with them?Let's see how well the first two printed ones go.
The 3d printed grinder is free of charge, I just request that you pay for the shipping. Around £2.
But let me check how the first two ones go before anything else.
I never even got a replyI never received mine.
