Hello chaps.
I've got the engine out of my ZXR750 track bike at the moment. The valve stem oil seals were on the way out and I've got a load of gunk on the back of the valves, the inlet and exhaust tracts.
The valves clean up with a bit of gentle scraping and a tickle with wet and dry but I'm struggling with the tracts. I'm planning of grinding out the casting marks anyway but think the gunk will gum up the stone.
Here's a pic of the sort of thing I'm up against:
You can see it's pretty ganky! What's the best way of cleaning it up without damaging the head or gumming up a load of stones? I was thinking pressure washer with a dirt-blaster attachment but I'm open to and better ideas!
