Its time to invest in a machine to last for life (hopefully) so I want it to be good quality and to be supported by good aftersales if ever needed.
I do quite a bit of car bodywork but also quite a bit of heavier stuff too, garage doors, gates, etc etc.
I have heard so much positive feedback about Portamig machines from car restoration people that it seems the obvious choice, I chose the 236s package as it has the same low end as the smaller machines but high enough top end for anything a home user is likely to need.
Its a significant investment so I don't take it lightly and want to spend the money once and be happy for many years.
Give me your thoughts, any reasons why it might not be the best one for the job, any alternatives that I'd be foolish not to consider?
Better to ask now than after I've bought it I think.
