and black and red should now have blue and brown sleves or tape to identify ?
No requirement for this, red and black stay as red and black.

W-O-W.....I hate to say we doo things different "over here", but I have taken a look around at how your wiring is done, googling suppliers and such.
Here is a very common "house entrance main panel" in the USofA
And the fact is we are only 120 vac to ground. You normally see that style of panel used in industrial setting in the UK, they look huge compared to the UK style CU's which average a 15" x 9" footprint.
Brings up a point.....What is your typical house service size ?You normally see that style of panel used in industrial setting in the UK, they look huge compared to the UK style CU's which average a 15" x 9" footprint.
My supplier told me in my area they guarantee 15kVA, my suppy is normally around 245v single phase.Brings up a point.....What is your typical house service size ?
but 9000v to the top of a shrub on someones front lawn! Your overhead power cables are low and everywhere I visited. US house wiring is ahead in many respects, fewer domestic electrocution deaths per capita too.And the fact is we are only 120 vac to ground.
Many are 60A single phase.Brings up a point.....What is your typical house service size ?
15 kva at 240 vac is 62.5 amps.My supplier told me in my area they guarantee 15kVA, my suppy is normally around 245v single phase.

Yeah, a little, just seen a few videos of power lines arcing to trees in residential areas, that's all.'9kv above a shrub ? I think your exaggerating a wee bit. Everything is supposed to be over 13'6",
and the lowest lines are cable & phone.
That's not normal in any way....That's a downed powerline.Yeah, a little, just seen a few videos of power lines arcing to trees in residential areas, that's all.
