Hi all
I need to beef up the welding on my kitchen bar stools as it looks like the feet have only been tacked on and they creak whenever you sit on them.
Below is a picture of the underneath of the foot of the stool. I want to weld all around the central pipe joint that currently only has those little tacks on it. I'd also like to weld around the larger outer ring but I'm concerned that the heat will damage the chrome on the other side as the metal is pretty thin, maybe 1 or 1.2 mm.
Any advice on how to proceed with this?
Thanks
Fergal
