This weeks project, Ive made a few of these but this is the first double version, customer has a 1.5m wide conveyor carrying a cooked meat product, the product has to be weighed and bagged, I cant show the job installed but you'll get the idea,
First the meat has to be channeled down into a narrow lane to get into the bags, so a simple diverter dropped on to the conveyor pushed one way or the other to plough the product in position,
Then at the end of the conveyor sits the scale stand, this will have 2 sets of scales side by side with a bag support frame sitting on each one, the diverter lines the product up with the chute, then when the weight is reached the operator moves the diverter across and while one bag is filling the other one is prepared.
Chute removable for cleaning
Cute fitted
And with the scales on, all the metalwork in the base is to accommodate several different scale bases
