Cor I'm back in the living wold .....
I've recently had 2 inches cut out my left knee joint & had two replacement metal bone ends screwed to the cut offs to remake a joint of sorts , plus a self lubricating nylon type cartilage insert .
I've ended up with a very painful knee & a 10 .5 inch long scar for my troubles as well .
As I re learn how to walk & stand again I want to resurrect my quest to learn much more about using my multi mode DC welder to learn how to successfully use it with the co2 trigger feed gun to weld aluminium using alu wire and the recommended argon mix.
Afore I went to hospital for the leg op I read & re read the manual many times I've got the different aluminium rollers & a mew gun with a PTFE liner so I can keep it specifically for aluminium welding.
What I need is any advice folk can offer wrt. electrode . point on the electrode distance electrode should protrude & gas flow as the tiny hand book does not mention an y for using the welder for aluminium .
Can anyone give me a bit of advice please ?
