I have picked up a nice little multi fuel stove about the size of a Hobbit. It was in a canal boat.
I thought it may do my caravan. However, it has a water jacket built into the back plate. The baffle is also a water jacket. A pipe of about 50mm goes in at top to the baffle and then comes out the rear, low down. I can't really use water facility. I am 2 minds to sell it on, or remove the water part and use as standard.
I know I cannot just bung up the rear pipes as we would have air vessels inside fire for explosion.
If I decided to use this, would opening inside the fire with a hole saw be enough? Then maybe fill jackets with fireclay/vermiculite?
