Lucky you I ordered a ratchet repair kit on the 7th Oct, still no sign.Snap on man here, got three sets spread out across my home and tool box at work.
If I damage a blade then snap on replaces it FOC.
so what would u buy that's better
Long story, short version:I have both wera and whia both good tools whia slightly cheaper and fit my hand slightly better but tips are all good
I like the weras in the velcro pouch with one handle and lots of bits as they are the only set like this with long bits the are actually usable
View attachment 125639 Here's mine from work last night.
2 x ph, 2 x poz, 4 x slot, 2 x weidmuller terminal drivers and 4 x torx, 1 x handle, 1 x electrical neon (hate them) and a Velcro pouch. The magnet is mine as it's also handy.
That must be wrong, as well as the missing toe boards. Over to you Parm.Long story, short version:
I am up a scaf tower built in a swimming pool (full of water don't ask) using a Whia screwdriver set, same as your Wera, changing out speakers above the pool. The Whia locking mechanism for the bits is a bit too easy to release, it released and I ended up holding the speaker in one hand and the screwdriver bit in the other hand. The screw driver handle fell to my feet, and bounced across the platform one way it would have landed on the pool surround the other way into the pool. I borrowed a long handled net from the health club to retrieve my screwdriver handle. That was almost two years ago and I still use the same handle it took no harm from it's bath in 30 deg C chlorinated water.View attachment 125628
