Hi,
I have had an R-tech 201 for couple years now so I thought I might comment.
Unquestionably the phone support and product support from R-Tech that I have received is
highly courteous and swift, replacing only occasional broken parts without trouble. It makes a buyer feel good.
Great first welder, no frills or bells and whistles, just pretty basic adjustability and reliable.
No illusions though, this is cheap gear, right down to the pedal and roaring fan! It roars for duty cycle reasons and that is cheap!
I cannot pick out better though, esp at ~ £1100
Plus when you upgrade you really will enjoy the new benefits!
Not misleading mate. Just wondered what is a better welder and why....Sorry "upgrade" was misleading. When you eventually get a better welder. As your skills advance you will see (and understand) the shortfalls.
Rtech are ok as a product and very good from a service point of view but of course there are superior built machines with higher quality components. Not misleading mate. Just wondered what is a better welder and why....
