I recently got one of these units second hand.
Nice condition and not to expensive (seller wrote in the offer it was 800,-new, which was totally wrong, it´s 4 times that much, which leads to a good price..)
I´m attached a pedal I allready had to the machine and I´m now wondering about the behavior of the display.
If there is a pedal plugged in, the display shows allways min current (4A) and I have to fully press the pedal to see the max current adjusted. Thats leads to waste of gas and I have to carry the pedal to the machine when adjusting and check the current.
When watching videos on youtube I saw that the HTP version of the machine seem to behave different and the max current is shown on the display without pressing the pedal.
I asked at stel italy and they wrote it´s normal.
Is it the same with your machine?? Might there be different firmware versions??
Kai
PS: I allready fixed the problem: I attached a little switch to switch of the resistance in the pedal plug which tells the machine, there is a remote.
Then the max current is shown and the pedal just works like a torch switch, maybe also useful when using the tacking program.
