Anyone used a Bolle welding mask?

I've used plenty of other eye protection made by Bolle, and I think it's good stuff.
However, has anyone on here any experience with their Fusion+ mask?

I ask as I found one on Ebay, for an ok price.

Looks like a generic rebranded chinese one to me mate. If you're after a budget mask either add another £30 and get something like an Lincoln Viking or go cheap and get a chinese hood off ebay for £30

All you can do is try and look at one somewhere. You'll see inside that it has a rating will be something like 1/1/2/1 or 1/3/2/1 and each one of those digits relates to the optical quality of the helmet which you can lookup. Now what worries me is there is no mention of this rating on the Bolle website and no clear photos of the ADF to read it. Put it this way and ESAB warrior which is £65 is 1/2/1/2. So don't go spending loads of money on something that doesn't meet the same standards, when there are copycat helmets on eBay from china that have better optics than some expensive helmets. At the end of the day China just copy everything so it may not last as long but it should be quite similar.

For £35 you can have a 1/1/1/2 with 5-13 shade adjust delivered from eBay. The wife needed one and it's actually a pretty decent bit of kit.

The one I've got at the moment is a Parweld, the only things wrong with it are 9-13 shade, and it's like looking through a letter box.
So, anything with better sized optics, and 5-13 shade.

Mind you I like the look of the GYS Spaceview.
I just want to be thorough, I don't like sending money on stuff that I've got to replace soon afterward, because it was made to a price and not a standard.

Yeah, I think that's the front runner at the moment, but I've seen a few on Ebay for less, with a decent size lens.
I think I'll check those out again, before I make my final decision.

The only thing I don't like about the GYS, it the stupid paint job, much prefer plain hats... But I can always change that

You can get a WeldCap from Optrel for not far off that sort of money, it's a bit outside of the box but a lot of people love them.

I like the look of the Weldcap, however, given that over the last week it was in the high 40s, I had 47 deg C in the shade on Monday.
What ever I go for must be quite airy.
